Terry was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan, which is located in the heart of the Canadian Prairies. He has been involved in photography for over 35 years, starting when he was about 10 years old with a Kodak Instamatic camera.

Recently Terry was chosen to be one of the Official Photographers of the 2005 Canada Summer Games which were held in Regina, Saskatchewan from August 6th to 20th, 2005. Many of his photographs can be seen at the Canada Games Photo website.

Terry's photographic interests are extremely wide and varied. These interests include abstracts, architecture, landscapes, nature, people, seascapes, sports, and macro. He is especially interested in photographing  Saskatchewan sites. He is often travels the countryside photographing sunsets, grain elevators, prairie scenes, old farmyards and interesting people that he meets along the way. Because of that Saskatchewan connection, it was back in December 1999 that Terry, along with a fellow photographer started  Prairie Photo . Prairie Photo is a mailing list that caters to photographers living in or traveling through the Prairie Provinces and the North Central States. Discussions on that forum range from favourite shooting locations, equipment and local labs. There are members from many locations in Eastern Canada and the US and throughout the world.

Terry has been an active member of the Regina Photo Club for 21 years, where he has another web site with much more of his photography. In the last 16 years, Terry has won several awards for his photography, both provincially and nationally. He's had shows of his photographs at various locations around the city of Regina. He has been published in various magazines such as Prairies North Century Home, Windsport and Canadian Geographic. In 1995, his photograph of Eva (which can be found in the B&W photos) won 1st prize in the People category of the Canadian Geographic Magazine International Photography Contest.

The photographs that are included on the following pages are just a small sampling of his work. Most of these images were taken using various 35mm SLR cameras that he has owned over the years, while others were taken on a medium format cameras using 120 film medium format film.
